Christina Michalos is a UK-born, award-winning children's book illustrator who specialises in the enchanting world of watercolour and mixed media. In the past 15 years, she has collaborated with more than 15 traditional publishing houses and over 50 self-published authors worldwide.

Notable clients include Books That Heal & the American Coalition Against Childhood Cancer, Vice TV, the European Writers Council, Papadopoulos Publications, and the National Book Centre of Greece.

The majority of books she has illustrated have achieved international retail distribution, including but not limited to Waterstones, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, Foyles UK, Saxo Denmark, First Book Canada, and Strand Bookstores in Broadway, NY.

Christina also holds a BA in Early Education, and specialises in Special Education and Pedagogy in Neurodevelopmental and Sensory Disorders. She lives with her two children in Athens, Greece, and spends her summers in her beloved Harrogate, in North Yorkshire.
